New Subject at School: Social Intelligence

Just how difficult is it to walk up to a sexy stranger and start a conversation? Judging by how bizarre some scenarios can get, scoring is, for many people, terrifying just like public speaking, deep sea diving (with unfriendly sharks) or maybe talking a shower in public!

Now, why is that, you suppose? Maybe the problem runs deeper than saying "we're orthodox". Sex education is a zero in India. And yes, we're definitely sorry for the girls who have to deal with lines like, "Hello, I am wanting your phrendship".

Recently, British creativity expert Sir Ken Robinson told a conference in California that "...modern schools are based on an early 19th century model created to churn out workers for industrialism. That's why English and Math are so 'respectable' but not dance or drama (or for that matter, 'how to chat up a chick'!)

So what we are proposing is that kids get schooled in fundamental skills such as 'How to talk to the opposite sex', 'body language and vocal tonality' and even complex subjects for novices such as "Knowing the right time to kiss' and 'Dealing with rejection'.

These subjects should actually be taught at school; the point is teenagers don't learn how to get the women they're aiming for. Everything this far has been about trial and error so imagine if they could study a subject like 'mastering conversation with the opposite sex'! Also, 'How to forge good relationships' and 'Handling intimacy and sex' would be much appreciated.

Social intelligence then is a simple but worthwhile dream; the next generation should be able to make it with the opposite sex without the usual 'tensions'! Eat your heart out CBSE, ICSE and what not!

Love Lost in Translation!

You've felt the effects of love. Lots of hugs and kisses and everything else in between. Then why is it that two people in love rarely hear or understand each other?

Here's an example. Conversation after a date: You say: "I had a great time, should I call you?" She thinks: "He's trying to get rid of me" and says "Yeah, sure. Thanks for tonight. See you soon." You think: "Is she interested or what? Screw it; I'm not going to humiliate myself."

Communication gaps between both sexes has been an issue long unresolved. It accounts for pretty much for all the divorces and serial incidents. Now, a new guide by TV psychologist Dr Linda Papadopoulos effectively titled 'What Men Say, What Women Hear' should set the record straight for both sexes.

Dr Papadopoulos (say that quick!) has researched "manspeak" by analyzing typical conversations between men and women; it has revealed what exactly goes on in a man's head! Women don't exactly escape Linda's astute observations; girls shouldn't think negatively about men when they're actually genuine. Men do not have a pre-rehearsed set of words to say, so it's wrong to prejudge their expectations! Finally, reading Linda's book can help men and women rethink the way they conversations after meeting the parents or at times of emotional unavailability.

Great, Linda is after our own hearts! More information for our lovely ladies... if you're unsure he's interested, the best way is to ask him directly

Egg yolks are good for you

The truth about egg yolks

Many people throw away the egg yolk because they think that's where all the nasty fat and cholesterol is". This is a perfect example of how confused most people are about nutrition.

In a world full of misinformation, somehow most people now mistakenly think that the egg yolk is the worst part of the egg, when in fact, the YOLK IS THE HEALTHIEST PART OF THE EGG!

By throwing out the yolk and only eating egg whites, you're essentially throwing out the most nutrient dense, antioxidant-rich, vitamin and mineral loaded portion of the egg. The yolks contain so many B-vitamins, trace minerals, vitamin A, folate, choline, lutein, and other powerful nutrients... it's not even worth trying to list them all.

In fact, the egg whites are almost devoid of nutrition compared to the yolk. Even the protein in egg whites isn't as powerful without the yolks to balance out the amino acid profile and make the protein more bio-available. Not to even mention that the egg yolks from free range chickens are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids. Yolks contain more than 90% of the calcium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, thiamin, B6, folate, and B12, and panthothenic acid of the egg. In addition, the yolks contain all of the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K in the egg, as well as all of the essential fatty acids.

And now the common objection I get all the time when I say that the yolks are the most nutritious part of the egg..."But I heard that whole eggs will skyrocket my cholesterol through the roof ." No, this is FALSE!

First of all, when you eat a food that contains a high amount of dietary cholesterol such as eggs, your body down-regulates it's internal production of cholesterol to balance things out. On the other hand, if you don't eat enough cholesterol, your body simply produces more since cholesterol has tons of important functions in the body.

And here's where it gets even more interesting...There are indications that eating whole eggs actually raises your good HDL cholesterol to a higher degree than LDL cholesterol, thereby improving your overall cholesterol ratio and blood chemistry.

And 3rd... high cholesterol is NOT a disease! Heart disease is a disease...but high cholesterol is NOT.

You can read the following article about why trying to attack cholesterol is a mistake, and what the REAL deadly risk factors actually are...

So I hope we've established that whole eggs are not some evil food that will wreck your body... instead whole eggs are FAR superior to egg whites.

Also, your normal supermarket eggs coming from mass factory farming just don't compare nutritionally with organic free range eggs from healthy chickens that are allowed to roam freely and eat a more natural diet.

I recently compared eggs I bought at the grocery store with a batch of eggs I got at a farm stand where the chickens were free roaming and healthy. Most people don't realize that there's a major difference because they've never bought real eggs from healthy chickens... The eggs from the grocery store had pale yellow yolks. On the other hand, the healthier free range eggs had deep orange colored yolks indicating much higher nutrition levels and carotenoids.

So next time a health or fitness professional tells you that egg whites are superior, you can quietly ignore their advice knowing that you understand the REAL deal about egg yolks.

One more thing about eggs... I read a study recently that compared groups of people that ate egg breakfasts vs groups of people that ate cereal or bagel based breakfasts. The results of the study showed that the egg eaters lost or maintained a healthier bodyweight, while the cereal/bagel eaters gained weight.

It was hypothesized that the egg eaters actually ate less calories during the remainder of the day because their appetite was more satisfied compared to the cereal/bagel eaters who would have been more prone to wild blood sugar swings and food cravings.

One Night-Stands Not Really a Woman's Thing

This may come as a surprise to India's experimental Gen Y male on the lookout for casual relationships. A new study is about to prove their worst nightmare.

The culprit is a certain Professor Anne Campbell from Durham University in the UK, who has discovered in her research that women aren't actually too kicked about one-night stands. What's more, they actually feel bad once they have indulged in such short affairs.

In fact, women will only consider hooking up with a guy if they have reason to believe that they can settle down together peacefully for a long, long time.

The reason for women feeling this way is that they value quality more than quantity. In other words, they are more driven by the genetic quality of their partners and won't settle for just any old guy. They want to choose their partners with care.

So guys, make sure you catch up with all those books you threw aside when your mom sat you at her loving knee and tried to impart to you the basics of life.

And women, if you don't agree with me... well, these are not my views. You'll have to take it up with Ms. Campbell.

Monday office : Kindergarten feeling

Monday office, Kindergarten feeling…. Person who likes to work but not interested in job which he/she working on…. Feel like kindergarten kids feel…. Who like to play at home but no willing to play in a strange play? Likewise people get bored; when they join in a wrong place in a wrong time.

That too when they join in a place where the senior most people work in the same field for more decade don’t understand or don’t take the fresher into account, who have completed a his/her UG or PG in the same field. If in a case, he/she don’t have the basic knowledge about the field that’s it…… they don’t even mind about the person who have joined in that office, in some cases it won’t happened to a staff who join in a concern because people won’t take staff from other field. We are learning each and everything during life time in lot of ways like trail and error etc. These books knowledge gives guidelines to life how to live; indeed they can’t do many things for practical life, that doesn’t mean that we do things difference than what we read or write in question.

This blog is just a page of a day feeling even I’m trying my level best to learn from others life, for the betterment of our life. Learning is process which keeps our life as a student; even great masters in the world are still students.

Media Vs stardom

Blogging after a long time…excuse me .......

Media is a passion to many people in this world. Especially in India we have an abnormal attraction towards media. Some people are even willing to do anything for media and stardom.

I don’t know why people go behind star not behind the screen workers. Sometimes the assistants of the director and cinematographer don’t even get paid from the production house. Whether this stars making the media popular r media making stars popular (It is like whether egg came 1st or the chick came 1st).

Now for the initial film stars require some media coverage since they are new to the industry but for the very popular stardom whether it required. I don’t believe but at times people like BIG “B” (for the globe readers “B” Amitabh Bachchan a Hindi actor) and RAJNI (he is a south Indian actor) require some hype in the industry. One reason why rajni needs it because his movies are coming once in a while and Big “B” almost last his charm and crazy among public because does too much commercials and every week his movie is getting release which makes his fame weak. Come back to media Vs stardom.

Without stars now a day’s many new channels can’t produce good feature on public issues. I find TIME NOW, AJA TAK, NDTV and few more Indian news channels depend on page 3. What makes more sensitive on shilpa shetty a globe face for India? rather than national problem like cavery issue, ladies 33% bill and lot more.

Whatever it is public is willing to watch anything because media is a very good entertainer for them but most of the stars it is the pulse.

To conclude stars are mere actors not worth to worship as god. Even actor (so called stars) should also realize they are the normal person in the world. And try to keep things down to the earth. At the same time media should give equal importance to other section of the news. These channels should produce News not Noise of stars.

Is Women’s heart is deepest ocean in the world??

Nowadays most of the boys commonly tell that "I ve friends who r gals..." and so do gals in vice versa ….. Are they true to their words…?? (*%$^$^%#) GOK (God Only Knows)

But I see a major difference in gals attitude towards their boyfriends, here i mean the friends who are boys. B'coz nowadays these words(boyfriend or girlfriend)are misunderstood as "lovers" by todays youth which seems to be absurd.

I was talking about girls attitude towards boys : I have come across so many girls in my life time till now..... most of them have the similar attitude, I mean they are very keen about what kind of relationship they have with the boys (whether it may be friendship or platonic relationship or more than that).they are clear and not much confused as boys. But it's very hard for our fellow guys to judge them. They dont get confused and they dont confuse much.

On the contrary men, always blame the girls that they have some attitude problems. I think its some idiotic men's attidude to show of men as superior.

When a gal get along with a boy its very easy to find out whether he's her lover or friend,But most of the men doesn't know how to express their friendship or love and they mess up with things which spoils their relastionship.

I won't blame that boys are the only reasons to make this………. there are some gals too.

Actually i dont want to end up with any conclusion because this topic is always ongoing one and i cant' conclude anything. But i'll continue with this topic forever........
Always perspective varies so the above mentioned things are according to my perspective and if you have diverse opinion plz do share with me..............
